We stayed at the Mennonite guest house and when we left, we felt like we were leaving family. The home is very (VERY) clean, nice and peaceful. They were more than happy to shuttle people back and forth all day, fixed a breakfast daily for everyone. It was a very good experience. They do have rules to adhere to. No TV, No Radio, No musical equipment of any kind. You can't wear shorts, tank tops or any other skimpy clothes. Curfew is at 10 pm. We loved being there!
I have stayed at the Rochester Mennonite Guest Home many times while family members were doctoring. The rooms are clean, the caretakers genuinely care about their residents and service is wonderful. Rooms are sometimes tough to get, but try here first.
