Great place for fitness. I am surprise with the reviews and I think those people are lazy people that's why they are crushing their health club. I like this place and the trainers.

While the price may be reasonable, the service is not. I would not recommend this gym. They are dishonest and do not hestitate to take advantage of people. I had a 30 day trial - when I went to change programs I was asked to bring in a copy of my agreement because they do not keep these on file - and I was told they could not access them from corporate. I brought the copy in and my program was suppose to be changed but never was.

These people do not pay their bills. They do not pay their contractors. The Main Office doesn't answer phone calls. This is a "Oh, the check is in the mail" company. I would be cautious about giving them any money what so ever. I wouldn't be shocked if they just shut the doors and ran. Do not expect any refunds.

the price is right. Love the televisions on the equipment. The free tanning is great. The 2 trainers (they are a mother-son) that work there are super nice! The shower was clean and it is nice and cool in there.

Wow is very unreliable when it comes to advertising, and in what they tell their customers. When you actually go in to confront them with a problem, it never seems to end. I figured out it probably is because the headquarters is on the east coast. I ended up dealing with both several times before I got my problem straightened out. My main problem, which I will never agree to again, is to have my monthly membership automatically withdrawn from my checking account. It turned into a real nightmare. I never got informed by WOW that they were having problems getting their payment until a bill collector called telling me I owed them hundreds of dollars. I spent an entire afternoon confronting the bank, who in turn said it was Wow that had a problem. Then Wow claiming the bank was at fault. I changed the payments to my credit card. So far so good. The other downfall are that the shower stalls really are not kept cleaned very well. Even the shower curtains have brown mineral stains on them as you glance lower to the floor. The rubber mats are rather nasty, and spooky if you look under them. I feel with more fitness centers opening, the city would have some strict rules on cleanliness. As another writer in this column mentioned, it seems the workers really don't care, or take that extra step for their customers. My 18 month contract finally runs out this month! Can't wait.

WOW wrote a check while they were in construction for their signage on the outside of their building. The check for $10,000 bounced, that was a year and a half ago. Bill Langlois was the author of the check, he obviously doesn't care about people loosing weight just losing money. I gave them a star only because I had to.

I have a full basement of equipment because clubs are a waste of time in my opinion but I thought for $10 a month why not. Boy, I wish I had my $10 a month back now. The first club opened 2-3 months behind schedule, now the new club they have been advertising as "open" for 6 months now and is still months away from opening from what the guy actually building the club told me while I was touring an empty building. My membership will be up by the time this club is open and when I initially signed up they told me that they are looking to open another club in 6 months up on the north side of town (which is much better for me as I work and live in the north side), that obviously didn't happen like that. I have had twice now for both me and my fiance and a couple other people I know that they "accidentally" charged our account charges that shouldn't have been there. They have attempted to change our rates and lock us into longer terms. The entire club is a disaster, the way it is run and organized to their misleading and false advertising. I suggested a couple things they could do to make the free weight area more organized as weights are constantly all over the place and not in their proper place, they haven't done anything about it. Their flooring in the free weight area has been coming up off the ground since a month after it opened and haven't fixed that yet. There is a lot of waiting on machines that they said wouldn't be. They said it's not a "jock" gym, but there are plenty of weight lifter type guys there walking around like they own the place. The staff there doesn't have an ounce of care in them. They all seem like they don't even care because people will sign up for the club just because it's by far the cheapest in town and unfortunately they may be right. I can't recommend this club to anyone other then the fact that it is pretty cheap. If you can afford something else do it, or better yet buy stuff for your home and stay away from these settings all together since it seems like they are all trying to do this same crap, just WoW is really really good at feeding you the crap, much better then most.
