It was fun, but the staffing was horrid. I took my kids there for my sons 12th birthday to go play laser tag. They had a special-needs guy running the laser tag area, which I initially had no problem with. In fact, my youngest is special, so I thought it was great that he had a job like this. That changed. He kept going in and shooting us from the entranceway, and I thought that was unfair as he was not in the game at all. Then, I came out with my friend and only the kids were in there. It was around Halloween, so there were decorations around and he kept picking up a severed arm and throwing it at the kids. At one point, my son picked it up and threw it back. I come walking back to the laser tag area and was surprised to find my son and his friend standing outside the area with the guy glaring at them. They had only been in there about 2 minutes, and I had paid for 3 hours unlimited and knew they loved playing, so I asked why they were done. My son looked nervous and said that the guy pushed him down. I was shocked and figured there must have been a mistake and so I turned and asked this guy who was about 220lbs and 6'1" or so if he had pushed my son down (who was 57lbs and 4'2" at the time). He said no and I thought that was it. But as I turned away, I saw my sons friend staring at the guy and I could immediately tell something was wrong and who to believe. He flat out asked the guy if he was really going to lie about it and looked honestly shocked. I again asked the guy and then my son. My son looked nervous and said to "just forget it". I asked the guy what happened and it finally came out that he threw the severed arm at my son and he thought it was funny at first, but then it got annoying, so he just tossed it back. The guy flipped out and ran to my son, put his foot behind my son while shoving him backwards, resulting in him flipping onto his back. The big guy then leaned over into his face, put his hand on his neck and yelled at him if he thought it was funny and to get out. The manager working heard this discussion and came over, to say sorry and offer the boys a cup of soda. I was shocked and appalled that my son was physically assaulted by a grown man 2 times his size and ruined his birthday, and wasted my money, and all they got offered was a cup of soda. :( I should have called the cops, I know, but I was just in shock at the whole thing and just wanted to get out of there. The next day I called and spoke to the manager who promised it would be taken care of. He told me the guy was no longer going to be working there and that we could get free games as a refund for the money I paid and did not get to use. I went back for my other sons 9th birthday in March, and when I got there I was told I did not get any free games, not even a discount. I also discovered there had been a "biting incident" and a cup of soda thrown at a kid since then and they guy only recently was let go. Beware! Watch your children as they certainly will not!
